This stuff really happens... My Mom shared her story with Greg: It was the night before her surgery (my first heart surgery at 2 1/2 years old) that Dr. Green, who had worked at Walter Reed Hospital, sat and told me that although her chances were 95 to 5 that people had to fall into the 5% to make it real. I had to be prepared for that. He told me that at least I had hope. He then told me that his son has MS and he watches him die a little bit each day. Surgery went fine, as you know. When the bill came, I submitted it to the insurance. Insurance paid half of it. I kept waiting for another bill. I never got another one. He will forever be in my memory as a great man.
