This video is graphic. Watch at your own risk. Before everyone goes off about cops killing another unarmed man, please note the erratic behavior exhibited and the fact that he was coming at the cops even though their guns were drawn. Put yourself in the officers shoes... you get a call about someone acting erratic and stealing things from a store. When you arrive on the scene, you witness the erratic behavior and tell the person to stop and get on the ground. They ignore your command and start coming towards you. What would you do? As much as I wish they used non-lethal force or tactics, I personally think THIS shooting is probably justified. Based solely on the video. The question here becomes... what determines if and when officers should use lethal force vs a non lethal option? Sidenote: Does the new police tactic for securing a scene require them to create a perimeter that takes most eyewitnesses out of cameraphone range?
