This weekend Homestead hosts the NASCAR Finale. I should be excited by this as I really like racing and I have Sunday off. I am NOT excited. I have decided not to attend this years race as the current point system sucks. While I commend Jimmie Johnson for his accomplishments I cannot continue to go to the Homestead Race year after year witnessing the same result. For that I can go to Dolphin games. I propose giving Las Vegas what they want in the Championship race and giving Homestead-Miami Speedway the week after Daytona. This move makes logistical sense and will definitely boost attendance at the Homestead race which has suffered for years because of everything stated above.
