This weeks amazing features on our guest at Summit if anyone needs me to add them to a guest list please pm me. It’s time to leave the house and dance with us once again to some of summer’s hottest deep house and techno. Summit is melting everything around you to make way for Danni B and Brad Daniels, two of Melbourne’s favourite flames B2b tonight , we are also happy to add that we team up this week early part of the night that will be hosted by the Lune Blue crew . There is no other sound quite like that of Danni B, the versatile and captivating deep house this woman projects is something that takes you to a mesmerizing place that until you hear its sound, you forgot existed. Teamed with her enchanting nature behind the decks, this sound has taken Danni to remarkable heights in the international as well as local scenes. After cementing her name in Berlin with nothing but music in 2012, Danni flew to a whole new level with Burning Man in 2013 where she played as part of the Naturklang Zurich and Celtic Chaos teams. Danni will be back at Rainbow Serpent at the end of the month for her fifth consecutive year of dazzling the colourful festival, and having joined forces with Berlin label Collage Audio, will be wooing more of the international scene after that. With so much to give those on a dance floor and looking to receive inspiration in turn for her very own coming productions, Danni B is an impressive addition to Summit this weekend. To add more fuel to the Summit fire, Brad Daniels will be bringing his kinetic, magnetic, funky blend of sounds to the dance floor. Well acquainted is an understatement for Brad’s familiarity with the Melbourne music scene, with 18 years of DJing under his belt, the man knows the code to the city’s deep tech groove, and he can spin, tickle and crack that code in the most technical and rhythmic of ways. Brad has an understanding of music that has undoubtedly made him one of Melbourne’s central progressive party figures. Twice Shy; the much loved and respected brand launched by Brad and his friends, is an underground dance music focused collaboration that illuminates Brad’s passion for quality sound and showcases. However, Brad’s insight and immersion in deep house and techno sound is endless, with close involvement in countless crews such as Chameleon Records, Coco Poco Loco and Thick as Thieves, and presence at events such as Subsonic and this years’ (closer by the minute) Rainbow Serpent Festival. This Summit will be unmissable. Danni got her first real taste of festival fever in 2010, when she was booked to play Rainbow Serpent Festival in Australia. She quickly left a mark on the crowd and the promoters alike, and has been asked to come back every year since. It didn’t take long for other promoters to pick up her scent and Danni was booked for Solstice Festival in 2010 & 2011. Stepping things up, Danni hit the international scene in 2011 with her first gigs in Berlin - at a local favourite “Golden Gate” – and “Yes Club” in Prague. Needless to say, her sets were very well received and an experience that has left Danni truly inspired and determined to take her musical journey that critical step further. Joining forces with Berlin label Collage Audio, Danni is looking to conquer more of the international scene, starting with Europe and moving on to The US.
