This wonderful post by my friends Calabria Bellissima & Rosario De Vito speaks volumes about the women of such a beautiful land, Gizzeria #Calabria #Italy :) I will use the translator to share the words from the original post and hope that it shines through for my friends in America, as Im certain that this video will tell it well :) Gizzeria, land of Calabria. I want to dedicate the narrative background of an evening in which are presented the texts of two authors Calabresi: Giuseppina Ian and Annalisa Martin, old women in my country. Those of yesterday that we all have in our memories, those who look at you with eyes and benevolent and wise are ironic in their suffering. Those women who, always aloof, held the reins of our land and have held dear the memories, the story. In their telling and not forget and are firm in their historic homes to hold land and to maintain life, they want to make my homage. They are spectators and authors of this land of Calabria worth always tell with words and images. We used, without any profit, some pictures of a beautiful FB page Calabria social photography, made by artist Mario Greco, to tell them, to omaggiarle, and to remember the sacrifices of the people of our region, people told by Alvaro and layers in a social context in which moving forward meant actually fight, suffer hardship, preserve dignity and believe it. For them, if we believed, we must have courage and fight ourselves and improve ... Build, always. Thanks to Rosario De Vito who made the video and realized in full the intention of this project.
