Throughout the year, Team Heidel finds ways to contribute to our community. This holiday season, we are adopting Gibson Middle School. Gibson is celebrating its 50-year anniversary and their theme this year is Be Kind, Be Great! As one of the oldest schools in Las Vegas, they are looking for community support for their hardworking and deserving students and families. Over 80% of Gibson students fall below the federal poverty line. As a result, their students often experience barriers that other, more affluent, students do not face. This year, it is their goal to partner with businesses and individuals to diminish these barriers and allow their students to reach their highest personal and educational levels. Gibson has moved from a 1-star rating to 3-stars and is currently striving to be a 5-star school. If you are able, we ask you to join us in helping Gibson Middle School. We are collecting the following items! 1. $5 gift cards to support student achievement/recognition. Donated gifts to recognize students for our Be Kind, Be Great theme! 2. Food items for the school pantry. 3. Toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc.) 4. Collared shirts for school dress code (red, white, blue) 5.
