J. Smarton (keyboards; 1988) Formed in Edmonton in 1963, Willie And The Walkers were known for their visual stage presence which focused on their two identical guitars. As their popularity grew in the Prairies they were able to do opening slots for the likes of Paul Revere & The Raiders, Cream, and The Guess Who. In 1967 they were signed to Capitol Records and released several singles recorded by Buddy Holly producer Norm Petty.
