Thyroid cancer update: had to receive a high dose of radiation due to finding 2 small spots. Have had 2 full body scans. Both spots are burning brightly with radiation right now. Have the all clear from my oncologist to go back on my meds and remove all food restrictions. Next scan will be in 6 months. Need to get 2 consecutive scans 6 months apart not showing any cancer. Right now I am fighting severe fatigue due to a lack of sleep and no thyroid hormone. On double dose of the hormone for a week to get it back up to normal levels. Next will be to start getting my strength back. Will try to get back on a bike and into the gym starting in about 2 weeks. I have been overwhelmed with all the prayers and well wishes through out this entire experience. I am inspired by your concerns for me. Thank you!
