Tick Tock! The training manual is as complete as I can make it. The printer actually cooperated with me tonight to print out the final pages. All that is left is to turn it in and wait for the edits to roll in. This week has been a bear being short handed, over extended, and what seem like unachievable goals to obtain. Alas, tomorrow is Friday. Fresh eyes on Monday will see what I can make out of lemons......more than likely a vodka lemonade :) ! Meanwhile, a productive week meeting with Chases teachers (all three of them). There arent enough superlatives to describe how the teachers made me feel about Chase a student and the bright academic path he is on. So proud! Matthew Valentine had an interview last Sunday with People to People to travel abroad for the summer. We got the phone call Tuesday night that they accepted his application and he did very well on the interview. So, no summer camp for Matt, he is going on a journey of a lifetime instead. As a Student Ambassador for his school and on behalf of the US, he will be studying over the summer in Australia for 20 days. Next up is his National Jr. Honor Society meeting on Tuesday and middle school soccer tryouts are right on the horizon as well. Did I mention he is working his tail off in 7th grade? VERY tedious coursework this year. GO MATT GO!
