Time to do some weeding! how many things in our hearts and minds are taking place of our faith, how many things are we ALLOWING, yes ALLOWING to interfere in our walk with the Lord? What is your first thought of the day? What is your last? What are you thinking in between those two? Brethren we need to clear our minds, hearts and souls of all the garbage out there, pluck all the weeds before they suffocate the entire garden of our life! God is good all the time. His word is your sword,,, are you thinking on it, meditating on it as you should? Do you allow fear and worry to overcome your faith? Because that is exactly what the enemy wants them to do! God says FEAR NOT! God says Never will I leave you nor forsake you! God says Seek my kingdom FIRST! not as an afterthought! Not just when trouble comes! ALL THE TIME! Matthew 6:33 King James Version (KJV) 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. AAAAAMEN! ALL THESE THINGS! ALL OF YOUR NEEDS WILL BE MET! Are you seeking Him first? Seeking His kingdom and righteousness? His word is your guide! The Bible says James 1:22 New King James Version (NKJV) 22 But be DOERS of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. Jesus said: John 14:12-14 King James Version (KJV) 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. God says be strong and courageous! God says beware the enemy! 1 Peter 5:8 King James Version (KJV) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: How do we remain sober and vigilant? By staying in, meditating on adhering to and BELIEVING in the word that God has given us! Folks you cannot pull out your sword in the face of the enemy if you do not know it! you have no weapon if you have no word in you! Yes in you! This is how God instills His power into YOU! This is not a war of flesh but of spirit! I tell you truly that satan can try hard as he can to rip into your flesh, but if your flesh is no longer you, but that of God... he cannot weaken you by any means! HE NO LONGER HAS POWER WHEN YOU ARE FULL OF GOD! Your spirit and mind is where he goes...sneakily he enters with a little bit of doubt, a little bit of fear, and little bit of anger or any other emotion that is not born of God... suddenly they grow bigger and bigger, your fear, your doubt your worry, suffocating anything that used to be your faith in God! LIKE A GREAT WEED IN YOUR GARDEN! KILL IT! Get RID OF IT! WEED IT OUT! God says that we need to renew our mind daily this is how we are conformed to be godly! This is how we gain the power of the HOLY SPIRIT! This is how we gain faith and are blessed! Romans 12:2 King James Version (KJV) 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. TO THINK ON GOOD THINGS! this is how we combat the enemy from entering our minds! Philippians 4:8 King James Version (KJV) 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Brothers and sisters if you do not consciously make an effort to control your thoughts, your thoughts are GOING TO CONTROL YOU! Meditate on Gods word, first last and in between! Do As It SAYS and lets get the weeds out! They are KILLING YOUR BEAUTIFUL GARDEN OF LIFE! God bless and strengthen us all! In Jesus name! AAAAAAAAMEN!
