Timehop decided to show me all the deliciously awesome birthday cakes I made for a certain someone over the years. There are times when I feel like Ive made a lot of progress toward letting go of the situation and the feelings attached to it. But there are other times, like today, when I hope that he reflects on who isnt there to wish him happy birthday, when I hope his cake tastes like crap, and when I also hope that he conveniently chokes on it as well. I usually dont get too personal on FB and Im not the type to wish ill will toward others, but there is an exception - hurt my kids and forgiveness is not in the cards.
