Secondly, the petrol crisis seems to be the tip of the ice berg. This crisis was of empirical in nature with instant impact on the masses. However, the are many latent, underlying matters that would be felt in medium to long term. For example, what Zia ul Haq did to our foreign policy, education system and constitution can be felt now. Likewise , it can be assumed that blunders of current rulers will surface in the future.Reluctance of the Government from taking some concrete steps toward solving water/energy crisis by building Dams will adversely our country in coming future. Its the duty of Pakistani media/journalists to dig deeper rather than just focusing on the superficial and short term governments delinquencies.
