To all of the people posting either for or against the Michael Brown verdict: 1) You have not carefully examined all of the evidence 2) You do not know the laws in question 3) You do not know the precedent set by similar cases in the past 4) You were not present for the court proceedings in its entirety So.. 1) If your only source of information is a major network TV station (or one of its subsidiaries in either print, online, tv, or radio) 2) You do not have any legal training 3) You have not extensively analyzed the evidence I kindly ask that you hear out the other side and inspire discussion. Listen to those who disagree with you and dont state your opinions as if they are a matter of fact. Because at the end of the day, your opinion is largely bias, uneducated and most likely unfounded. While we, as laymen and laywomen, have the luxury of looking at this situation and understand/discuss it through our fundamental philosophical tenets, we give our government the arduous task of delivering justice through the lens of the law. Is it a perfect system? Probably not and there is a lot of room for improvement. Is it more thorough, unbiased, and equitable then your opinion? You bet your ass it is.
