To all of you who go to Texas Oncology who were unfortunately told you would be dropped if you went with marketplace insurance: while I am working to confirm this, I have heard from a couple of sources now that HIPPA protects the information of whether you buy insurance in or out of the marketplace. Providers only see the insurance company you buy from. They will more than likely know who you buy from only if you tell them - that of course doesnt guarantee they wont find a way to figure it out.
