To any of my friends within drive time of Lilburn...the Wack-a-Doo (my name for it) farmers market right there on 29 & Indian Trail has amazing Granny Smith apples for 69 cents a pound. Now to buy a fifth, no, make that a quart of Canadian Club so I can make a decent apple pie. And while Im still there mentally Im still trying to imagine the mindset of the being (may not actually be human) who puts together the (LOUD) soundtrack of your shopping experience at this place. Think Mental Hospital Club Scene! Psychedelic mushrooms on aisle 4! I walked in the door to Drivers Seat, Sniff & the Tears, and with barely a two second pause there was Saturday Night at the Movies by the Drifters. Witness two women in hajib and abaya doing a version of the Virginia Reel in the noodle/rice aisle. Turn the corner and Beat It breaks out and I am high stepping around the blue crabs that have escaped their tub with the help of a couple of little boys chasing each other with the crab tongs.
