We stock Wedding Gowns, Bridesmaids Dresses, Flower Girl and Page Boy outfits, Mother-of-the-Bride Designs, Tiaras, Veils, Accessories, Jewellary, Boleros, Cards, Cake Toppers, Wedding Gifts etc. Our more than 100 in-store gowns are all available for fitting and we have a wide range of Standard Size designs in-stock for immediate purchase. We stock more than 100 designs from Sizes 6 to 20. Should your exact gown size not be available for fitting in-store, we generally include a gown in your fitting choices that closest matches your dress size. Since most of our gowns have a lace-up back closure, it is possible to get a good idea of the gown design, style and fabric that is used, for you to make an informed choice. We have a large variety of in-store cupboard stock available that is not reserved for fitting; but which is available immediately should a bride choose not to order a gown and to wait for 8 weeks. We do not manufacture or sell custom made gowns. All our gowns are standard sizes, and design or size alterations will be for your own account. We have a list of skilled tailors and dressmakers who specialise in alterations to whom we can refer you. The price that is quoted is a cash-up-front rate that is payable before we order the gown from our manufacturers abroad. It is always a risk to order a gown. We therefore advise you to fit as many gowns as possible and to purchase the one that compliments your body shape and fits perfectly. Ordered gowns take approximately 8 weeks to be manufactured abroad and to be mailed to us. Please do not call us within the 8-weeks window period about the progress of a gown. Once the gown arrives, we will call you immediately to collect the gown. Regardless of who pays for the gown, we liaise only with the one concerned. We unfortunately do not have the manpower to field queries with the friends, parents, family, fiancee or members the party. Should you want to pay for the gown in installments, a 10% admin interest is levied on two payments (50% deposit and the balance on collection); and 15% admin interest is levied where 3 payments are made; which constitutes a 50% deposit and two payments thereafter of 25% each. We regret that no photos may be taken during the fitting appointment, and that no small children are allowed. It is advised that you wear the correct supportive undergarments for the fitting appointment, as you would on your funtion/ wedding day; and that your shoe height is the same or similar to the heels or flat shoes that you would wear on your wedding day. This allowes us to take accurate measurements to best match your body size with the Standard Wedding Gown size that we will order. It is advisable that you select the gown in-store that you most prefer. This avoids disappointment if an ordered gown arrives, and it does not look the same as the modelled fit on the photo. We do not do refunds or exchange under any circumstances. Should you lose or gain weight after the gown has been ordered; or if the fit is not perfect, we have a list of seamstresses to whom we could refer you, who would be happy to assist with alterations for your own account.
