The pride I express now is not arrogant conceit about myself -- a fallen individual in need of redemption (as all others are equally--no less but no more). My pride is celebration of my queer koinonia, the Beloved Community, the Body of Christ to me, which I find among LGBTQ Christians, progressive allies & other places that some dismiss as ungodly without being in relationship with us.
