To fight so they do not have to.... John 9:4 While it is still day, we must do the work of the One who sent me. Night is coming. Then no one can work If you stood on a shore and knew a flood was coming that would sweep everything away and there was no high ground to be safe on would you turn the childrens eyes to the sea so they lived in dread as the waves raised? If you were a warrior and you knew there was a battle coming and there was no where to hide the children or your loved ones, would you terrorize them every day by telling them their village is doomed? Or would you make them comfortable and keep them happy while it is still today going silently to your place when it was time to fight so they did not have to? Why then do you who feel our world is on the verge of a doom scare the innocent with your predictions? The Watchman calls out to the lost. Those of the Lord are safe in their faith in Jesus Christ. Our hope is not in this life but in eternity. Rally then to each other, you warriors of faith in counsel away from the innocent. Comfort who you can each day. Be a light of encouragement while it is still today. Perhaps tomorrow will come and prove you right, that you will have to stand and fight so they dont have too. Until then tend to the flock without scaring it. Revelation 13:9-10 Whoever has ears, let them hear. “If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed.” This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.
