To help out my niece with a college assignment, I responded to her questionnaire regarding reading habits and the significance or impact of reading or ones everyday life. Of course I mentioned how your series (along with Jean Auels early books) were instrumental in fostering my love of history: so much so they inspired me to get a History degree, and then I was hired by YOU. :) (Thank you many times over!) Needless to say, my niece received a score of 24/20 (extra credit) on her paper, AND a personal note from the professor that she hopes my niece enjoys the Outlander series. Apparently the professor is a Gabaldon fan too! :D
