To me, SPW 50 was about the music, the people, the good vibes. But it was also about seeing in the DJs doing an awesome job and having a blast whilst at it: The big smiles, the bopping heads, the serious groove. I saw the BNH staying on to see Chaka Kahn live, saw Omar in Spar, mingling with the people and indecisive about which vodka to buy, Coxy absolutely LOVING the tunes he was spinning (hands in the air, whoohoo!) and Soul Dynamic breaking their necks as they were doing their thing. I saw Kerri staying behind the scenes to check out Miguel Migs and big him up before he went his way. As much pleasure as I derive from witnessing a job well done, I cannot help but get a kick out of seeing professionals having a great time while doing their jobs. And the love and respect they have for each other. Check out Mr Scruff as he drops ‘The Ghetto’ - know what I mean? #biglove
