To my friends....hope everyone had a thankful Thanksgiving ...Im also very thankful. Pat fell off a stool on Monday and broke her hip. She had surgery at UUMC on Wednesday . She is doing well today, up in chair for several hours, and is getting oral pain meds. Her spirits are good and she is working hard to get home, (she may need to go to Rehab center for a few days, but the holiday weekend wouldnt allow authorization with insurance) so up there till at least Monday . So Im thankful for medicine, nursing, etc. Im thankful that the house is so ready for this situation, Im thankful for the great support of friends, and family. My turkey dinner will come later. Im spending all my time in hospitals again...not fun.
