To say the last 2 days have made me stop and realise how much u should live life to the full is an understatement..(and yes this is the last soppy bollock status)... obviously everyone knows what Sean Wright has been through and to see him walk through those hospital doors yesterday after that huge battle brought a tear to the eye. Then today, (and anyone that knows me well, will know Every weds evening after work i go up and have tea with my Nan, have done for the last 7 or 8 years barring holidays and illness). Today, Iv had most of the day off so I decided to go up early and have dinner with her instead. This turned out to be a massive mind blowing experience. Get up to her, bless her, to see her sat with her fire on, with her warm socks on and just listening to her radio. The t.v was off. The t.v is never off in nans house. So I say iv come for dinner instead nan, her face!!! It said 1,000 things!! *Well what am I going to do later, *weds from about this time I start preparing your tea, *Im not going to see anyone tonight now, *I look forward to seeing u on the night time, etc etc. Just made me really think... Her Weds is literally all planned out. Mostly about making sure my tea is ready. So basically Im saying, dont forget the old uns.. If you get chance to go see your nan or grandad or anyone who spends alot of time on there own, go see them. Even if its once every 3 months for half an hour. U wont ever understand how much they will look forward to seeing you. It keeps them going!! X
