To speak of a source is misleading. A source implies another dualism - a root cause and something that has come out of it. There is no root cause for the universe. If there were, it would be limited by its very function of being a root cause - in the same way that a creator becomes limited simply by its role of being dependent on the creation. If you understand that the ultimate reality is indivisible, then even if you search for eternities, it will be impossible to find dividing lines anywhere in existence.
