Today I fight the urge to stay in bed and soak in my boy. Work by many measures has become a place that competes for my time. This leaves me a remedial employee and a remedial father. These are pictures from our family bed. If you remember, we joined 2 queen mattresses together. We love our family bed and our make shift shrine. Even our dog (Oaks) prays with us. Atticuss treatment has been delayed by a week because of the severity he suffered from round 1. Round 2 starts Sunday and is expected to be much more difficult. To top this our young and beloved Oncologist resigned last week, leaving me heartbroken. Not to worry we still have his mentor to look over Atticus. Atticus has shown signs that his retinoic acid medicine is causing him a bit of moodiness. I think its amusing. Today we have a mother of an Neuroblastoma Angel flying in from New York to have supper with us tonight. She only lost her son months ago. We hope to sew The Holy Spirit between us and both feel the embodiment of Christs love and admiration for our similar life paths. One love Angels.
