Today I met and worked with an amazing and delightful group of young women from Deakin (Burwood & Geelong) see Deakin Volunteers - Malawi, Africa. With Katey from Deakin Geelong, we all learned how to pack the Days for Girls kits and started to make a kit each. Thank you to Margaret C for fantastic hospitality and excellent teaching! We even had 5 hand operated sewing machines to work on because thats what we will be using in Senga Bay, Malawi. Please like their page above because they are helping our Rotary Club of Montrose & District continue its work in Malawi by taking ABCD (ABCD - Art Building Children’s Dreams) into Malawi. It is such a privilege to work with such inspirational young people. I feel weary but so elated! :)
