Today I was so blessed with the chance to take a fellow St. Jude mom to Target to pick up a few things she needed. It was her first time getting out and the huge smile on her face literally brought me to tears! Shes new to our country and here with her two girls while her husband works. The youngest, only 7 months old has a rare form of brain cancer. My mom stayed with Molly while we shopped and took her girls on a brief trip to the zoo. This family has 13 months of treatment here and then they will be sent to Jacksonville, FL for further treatment. Please say a special prayer for our new friends! I was reminded today that no matter how bad your situation seems- there is always someone, somewhere- sometimes only a few doors down- that has it a little tougher than you. This week we are hoping to see Mollys numbers making great strides up! If so, she will have her first chemo treatment of Consolidation and her end of Induction MRD. Continue to pray ZERO with us as well as be in prayer for the potential side effects of the new chemo! Praying everyday that Molly is able to let her little light shine bright for the Son!
