Today SIPTU members leafletted on O Connell street to garner public support against the privatisation of our bus service. The reaction from the passers by was great. The National Transport Authority is planning to privatise 10% of routes currently operated by Bus Eireann & Dublin Bus. Will the planned privatisation of public bus services lead to a reduced and/or poorer service and a Race to the Bottom in all workers wages?
