Today has always been a day of reflection for me (just a little difficult)...My mom who adopted me because of love died when I was pregnant with Scott...20 years ago today... Instead of being sad I host my money camp this week because I know she would be proud...I know she would love all of these amazing youth. Well, today the power went out, didnt find out until 8am, we had to notify DTE, and many other things went wrong...I knew many parents had to work and I felt so bad that I wanted to open my home and just cook for everyone, but the other location allowed us to come as are materials are still locked up at the other school. Today I am the mother over 40 youth and we ordered pizza, watched movies, told jokes and having so much fun. We dont have power at that campus, but God has the real power... I want to thank, Erica Uzzle , Tonya Shirelle, Malesa Owens Mcghee, Stefanie Smith, Michelle Taylor, Jami Michonne, and many more for stepping up and the parents for understanding.... I know God can turn a mess into a message and we have angels watching over us.....Thank you God!!!
