Today is Boxing Day, which means nothing here in America but is actually considered a holiday in Canada or wherever. Im not going to bother wikipedia-ing this one because, more importantly, Boxing Day marks the first day of my favorite four days of the year: the Inter-Holiday. December 26-30 are the most golden pieces of childhood nostalgia because theres no school and no obligatory family functions to attend. Nothing but sledding, snow forts, cocoa, and leftovers. Its a freeform holiday of wintertime appreciation. And, hey, theres finally some snow on the ground too. Todays treats: -spinach, ham and cheese, chocolate, almond, or plain croissants -apple turnovers -cinnamon rolls -vegetable soup
