Today is a very special and blessed day because it marks the birth of the Magic Moon, that wonderfully precious and amazing woman who I proudly claim as my child and whom has constantly demonstrated to me the wonders of unfailing and unchanging love. Of all the treasures God has allowed me to experience, Salimu Terrell is surely among the greatest. My life would be far more empty were it not for her, and just the thought of how much she has motivated, challenged, questioned and checked me fills me with a feeling of warmth beyond compare. The image of her smiling face is enough to make me feel like bursting. I readily admit it is hard to be humble when speaking of her because the glowing pride she places in my soul is impossible to hide. Many parents boast about having wonderful children, but only a few of us can unequivocally state it as fact. God blessed me with the best -- no brag, just fact. AND I will be ever thankful, grateful and appreciative for His Grace. Happy BIRTHDAY, Zu Zu Mamu. Love you more than all!
