Today is already a great day! Melissa and Julie went out at 10:00 and broke Forrest out of the hospital!! His surgeon said he is doing GREAT! He has won over everyone at the specialist office, and I think they are going to kind of miss him! They said he was always playing (starting the morning after surgery!), and loves his toys!! He was full of kisses - and wants that darn E collar off so bad he cant stand it - Mr. Fiesty!! We are still guarded and need to keep him quiet (good luck on that one!) for the next 10 days until he gets his sutures out. His incision looks clean - but goes the whole length of his little belly. He will have his levels checked in 3 months - but we are all so very hopeful because he right now is fantastic! Thank you so very much to everyone that has joined Team Forrest!! You guys collectively have given this little angel a gift of life and future health as a normal crazy furball! I cant thank you all enough! Love - and wet sloppy kisses to everyone from Forrest Gump!!
