Today is my oldest sons (Matthew aka Pocket) Birthday. He would have been 34. This is a day our family celebrates because we were gifted with the presence of him in my husband and my life. He was an only child for seven yrs before our second bundle of joy , Alex, came along and then few yrs later our girl Emily surprised us. We were the 5 nicks back then on aol. In looking back God had a plan having him as an only child for those yrs. I think He knew it would help us cope with his loss so early . I can only trust in God his plan is to bring the best in all of us. There is not a day that goes by that I do not know he is with us. Though facebk has replaced our aol we are still the 5 nicks and always will be. We love you Matthew, and will forever and a day. Happy Birthday!
