Today is now officially known as Happy Jack Day! Do something nice for a loved one, friend or even a stranger. A year ago today my little man passed away at 4:08pm. I remember standing in the back of the hospital room while my Mother, father, in-laws, best friend, etc...held Jack one last time. Then we closed the doors and Eileen McCallon Doyle and I took turns holding him as we pulled him off the machines and made sure he was protected as he took his last breaths. Watching your child go to cold and is one of the hardest things I have to deal with day in and day out. I just want the hurt to go away! So, today I will cry, laugh, smile & try my best to remember my little Happy Jack. I love you & miss you so much. Please help us is remembering our son.
