Today was my first run in weeks. I had to take time off for my knee to heal from a knee injury. Fluid in my knee, infusions and strain added with overuse lead to severe pain, swelling and bruising. I was running 3-6 miles a day at 7:40:00 minute mile pace and sometimes lucked out with negative split times (Which, is always a good feeling to any runner) that with added circuit training and upper body workouts. After my knee injury I am glad to say I still worked out but my running had to be put on hold. Today wasnt too shabby! 8 minute miles but sadly no negative split times. Im just so happy that I ran with no pain today!
