Today we celebrate the life and birthday of my best friend Matthew! matt was an amazing person! he had a contagious laugh, warm smile, a big heart, he never settled for ordinary. he could command a stage with just his voice, make any mundane school day epic with just a video camera and a small road trip to Estes Park blaring Shania twain! (Kyle Hendrix you know what im talking about) He was a fantastic soccer player! and one of the best Ultimate Frisbee players I knew! not even Jacob or Josh could keep up! had zero fear when it came to cliff jumping! not even at lake Katherines freezing water! (wonder where he got that from......cough cough TIM) A Master of hide and seek at the Johnston house hold! I still cant believe he was behind the LEGOs the whole time!! and an all around just a down to earth GOOD person! which I find a rare thing these days. he was a breath of fresh air to the world. all of you that knew matt would agree that we should all try to be a little more like matt in life! One thing is for sure Tim, and Teresa you did an amazing job at raising a good hearted, god fearing man! as we take some time to celebrate matts birthday, realize that life is a precious thing, and it can be taken in a split second. so take the time and be with the ones you love, go out and make those unforgettable memories! and never never forget to #turnupthemusic HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATTHEW ill see you soon........ but not that soon buddy
