Today we were blessed to meet another Rett family. Our girls loved hanging out together! So many families with Rett are alone in their journey, and have no one close to whom they can relate. Our families found each other through a Facebook group for Rett families in the Pacific Northwest. We are so glad to have met! Having someone else to share this Life with is important. And luckily for us, Rett families seem to be especially open and *connected* to one another. As weve moved further away from Autism Land and into Rett World, weve found that the locals here are so very generous, helpful, encouraging, and positive. They have hope, and that is an enormous blessing. Im looking forward to knowing this family better, and Im sure this is just the beginning of a very special friendship between our girls.
