Today would have been my Moms 68th birthday. She was diagnosed with cancer when she was 49 and died 2 1/2 months after she turned 50. My grandma had colon cancer before her but caught it in time & lived to be in her 80s. Three of my favorite uncles died of cancer. I will be 50 in October. Statistics say that my odds of getting cancer are extremely high. After my Mom died I began to fervently ask God to show me what I could do to keep from getting cancer.
