Todays Devotional 30:1:2014: LET GOD SHOW YOU “Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths.” Psalm 25:4 (NIV). We celebrate Jesus today for a purpose, because He has made great impact everywhere and He is still making more and even greater impacts. Jesus was able to make such great impact and be celebrated because He was always listening to, and carrying out what God was saying. The question now is “Why do you labour in vain?” Why do you keep up late in the night to eat the bread of sorrow when you can sit down and spend time to find out what God’s agenda concerning a thing is? You need to find out God’s agenda so that you don’t run in vain. Once you find out, you will discover that the many days you spent and the many months you spent waiting will be recovered by the speed you will have. Jeremiah said “call unto me, and I will answer thee and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”... God in effect is saying: I will show you how to be able to take the city; I will show you what will impact the people. I will show you what to do, I will teach you to write the business plan and it will be approved by all necessary authorities. that business you re pursuing will succeed. That is the area we need to spend time. Paul says in Phil. 1:6, “Being confident of this very thing, that He which begun the good work will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” So, he says when I know what God is doing, I am confident, I am assured, I am not in any way vacillating with every wind ‘NO’, I am confident that He who began, (He started it), a good work in me, will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ. He who had begun, that means He started it and that means He dropped the idea in me and so I am guaranteed that no matter the wind that blows against me, it will be completed. When you want to submit a quotation to a place ask God, spend time to pray asking God what direction should I take? It does not matter whether you know somebody or not. He goes ahead of you and you are just yielding to what He is already doing, and He removes every pressure from you. I encourage you today to spend time seeking His face and you will see yourself gain speed and incredible things will begin to happen for you in quick succession.
