Todays MYTH BUSTER! People are taught to do more sit-ups/ab exercises to help get rid of the fat on your belly. Often we see in Infomercials that if you buy their Ab Training machine you will lose weight and get rid of your belly. This is a lie, this is a myth in this industry that so many have heard, been told, or are led to believe works or is true. So people go do a bunch of Ab Exercises thinking their belly will get smaller. FALSE! There is no such think as Spot Reducing of Fat from any exercise. You cant train legs to make the fat come off your legs, you cant train your triceps to get the fat to come off the back of your arms. Resistance training will only tone and firm and strengthen a muscle your working. But this will not burn the fat off that area. The trick behind or Illusion of this to work is because when a person begins working their abs they also begin to eat a very low calorie diet at the same time. It is the Under Eating that make the person lose weight but they are losing both Fat and Muscle because they are using low calorie eating to lose weight. That is the wrong approach to losing weight. You want to lose fat not muscle. If you want to lose fat and not your muscle then you better not Low Calorie Eat to lose weight. Bad but common approach. But this is how people on those Infomercials do it. That is why they lose weight all over the body and not just off their belly. If Spot Reducing worked then when you trained your abs the people would only lose fat from that one spot and not have lost anything anywhere else on their body. LOL Inner and outer thigh machines will not trim a womans thighs. It only trains a little strap of a muscle on the inner and outer thigh. It wont burn any fat nor trim your legs.
