Todays service for Jack Helm was a good one. He would have been so proud of his lovely family! The Coogee Bay RSL Sub Branchs part in talking about his army service plus the poppy service would of had Jack beaming with more pride! Dawn Holden , Committee members Margaret Brown , Gary Swift , Bruce Kennedy and Myself all laid Poppies for the Association and at the conclusion of the service all members of the RSL Sub Branch and all our party went to the front driveway of the church to have a guard of honour formed for our mate and old Vice President of the association as he was leaving .Afterwards we all went to the Clovelly Bowling club for the wake where the family had a slideshow going showing Jacks life which was great to see along with the view there ! LEST WE FORGET , WE WILL REMEMBER HIM ! REST IN PEACE JACK !
