Todays trip to the farne Islands on the boat was amazing. We saw puffins seals gullimots shags .. Just astonishing. Saw the lighthouse grace darling rode from. Had fish and chips, played on beach with bow and arrows from a shop that sells everything in the world. It was blue skies and sun and a really satisfying family day out. The boys have an egg from us, my sister and mum and dad. Feels like a lot of chocolate.... Im sure I can help them out haha. But today is what its all about ... Getting out there and feeling spring springing out, lambs jumping, green greening. On the boat back Louis fell asleep in my arms. Even though hes 8 it took me right back to him being a baby. It was a peaceful rocking rolling ride back to the harbour and it made me reflect on a lot of things. One being to embrace this time while kids are young.
