Todays verse Psalm 33:3 Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy. Some people get more excited than others when they sing- they even shout for joy. One of my favorite singers growing up was Al Green. I remember when I was in Chicago, I heard him being interviewed on WLS, one of the nations best known music Superstations-and the female host was interviewing the very famous multiple Grammy award winner.Lets Stay Together, Tired of Being Alone, Im Still in Love with You, Full of Fire,Call Me, Here I Am, Look What Youve Done for Me, You Ought to be with Me, Livin for You. Love and Happiness etc. She asked him what inspired his music- and he said God did. She seemed to be totally surprised and asked it again, and He repeated it and then said he would let her in on a secret. He said all his songs were really dedicated to God- and that he threw in a few Oh, Babys just to sell the records as love songs. He laughed- and she changed the subject, but I never forgot it. He didnt either I guess- You may or may not know that Al Green became a preacher and as far as I know, The Rev.
