Today’s Veteran of the Day is Ped Rexroat. Ped was drafted in to the U.S. Army from 1966-1970 and served again in 1976, retiring in 1992. He was sent to Vietnam the first time, but volunteered for another tour of duty because “it seemed like I was doing the right thing at the right time.” Ped completed a total of 22 months in Vietnam. We were able to meet Ped during his visit with Honor Flight Austin in Washington, D.C. Thank you for your service, Ped! How do you like the Veteran of the Day in video format?
