Tour de tweed review. Richard Beresford. Bez has a heart made - TopicsExpress

Tour de tweed review. Richard Beresford. Bez has a heart made of gold, which is also the size of Ayers Rock. His go getting attitude becomes infectious, with no task to hard.. He is often heard telling others to harden up when they whinge about sections of hard riding. Despite these positives, bez is also very hard to get organised, his gear is always a mess, and his bike is mostly on the verge of major malfunction. Bez was dropped on the highway at ballina... He set off alone for Mooball, 50km to the North, with tyres that had seen better days...... 5 years ago, and a headwind. Not even a 5 minute downpour could dampen his enthusiasm. Despite all these setbacks, bez met us later that afternoon with a smile and a hi. Now we all agree what happens on the bike should stay on the bike, but the following story must be told. On the Sunday, after starting late due to bezs mechanical and personal mishaps, part way up the steepest and longest terranora climb, bez lost his composure and gave one of the tour organisers a verbal barrage that even our test cricketers wouldnt be capable of saying. This behaviour was to be repeated on other climbs throughout the morning. If it wasnt for the coffee and cake stop at tyalgum, bez may have even been charged with grievous bodily harm. We passed bez going 5km/h up the last climb..... The threats of violence helped to spurn his fellow climbers into finding an extra gear to get out of his reach. We will assume that low blood sugar was to blame. The last climb at clothiers was to bezs liking, so no further abuse was heard, the old bez with a heart of gold had returned. Great to have u away on the tour. Sensational effort bez.
