Town Hall meeting was packed like I have never seen it before...Never got to use the word egregious. I have respect for the people who work for the city, though...youre always going to be standing up in front of people; 80 percent of which want to give you a piece of their mind and think you are the reason for all the problems. Coolest thing was a Mom who was there with 8 teen boys. Shes been feeding all the skaters in the next development and giving them a place to skate so they wouldnt be on the streets getting in to trouble. She asked our Councilman for funding for a skate park where the kids could go and not have to be on the streets. Her story was great; giving money to build the boxes and rails, letting everyone use her bathroom or get a drink and a bite when they needed. She wasnt there to complain about taxes, she wasnt there to tell someone she thought they werent doing their job...she just wanted a place for kids to skate safely and have a good time. ...thats the kind of thing I can get behind. Awesome.
