Traditional Indian garb and food was part of todays celebration as The IT Club and Global Club hosted their inaugural meeting. Students from Savitha Pinnepalli’s CPT 1100 and 1250 classes created presentations of various countries including information about art, culture, religion, tourism, food and other topics. Ms. Pinnepalli, who is chair of the IT Program at Rhodes, introduced the students to a number of different Indian foods and students performed a traditional Indian dance. Students also had the opportunity to use the new Google Glass and 3D Virtual Reality Headset. Shout out to the students from Vantage Career Center who were also in attendance.
