Trail conditions have been poor due to lack of snow. When we have trail updates we will keep them updated on the Trail Conditions page. visitgrandrapids/trail-conditions Latest updates: Skiing Trails: 12-30-14 It’s below zero again, which will help to keep the snow we do have. There is the possibility of a little snow this weekend. Lets cross our fingers. Meanwhile Mt. Itasca is open for skiing and snow-tubing. Snowmobiling: 1-6-15 The Lawron Trail Riders are still lacking that main ingredient to get out grooming. We got a couple inches over the weekend. No grooming is being done at this time. Everyone needs to focus a little more on their snow dance. THINK SNOW! 12-31-14 The Lawron Trail Riders trails are still lacking the main ingredient to make our trails usable . SNOW. Looks like we might get some over the weekend. Cold temps should have all the swamps froze. Think SNOW. A snow dance wouldn’t hurt. 12-30-14 It’s below zero again which is great for making ice for those that love to ice fish. Unfortunately, there is still not enough snow to snowmobile.
