Trained some Bis with Tommy Johnson Friday & honestly had a great workout. Lasted maybe an hour, but that entire hour we both felt that our arms were honestly going to pop due to the intensity and pace. Anyways, shown here is just a different angle that we like to use every couple of weeks to keep the movements fresh if you will. These seated cable curls are excellent especially as a finisher in my opinion, Im a fan if having to pull the weight from behind you rather than only below in standard curling motions. The key to this exercise, along with most bicep curls are simple. 1) Chest Held high. 2) shoulders back ( I use contract or try my best too touch my shoulder blades together. 3) Expanding on number two, visualize pinching a pencil in between your shoulder blades, it will help, visualize holding that pencil there to keep the proper form too. Also I tend to visualize Arnolds biceps as if theyre mine, odd, maybe creepy, but it helps a lot. Biceps used to be a weaker point for me & honestly what I found was my form was shitty. Once I cleaned my form up, slowed down, used actual proper weight & most importantly this all panned out to actually using my biceps hahah. Sounds silly, and even simple, but theres no magic tricks, just down and dirty training & good form.
