Transformed For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, Abba, Father. Romans 8:15 You have been transformed. When you were born again, you became a new creature (2 Corinthians 5:17). Your spirit was reborn-completely transformed by the power of the risen Savior. But you still have to work out your salvation-you have to contend with killing your old nature-your old emotions, old thought patterns (2 Corinthians 10:5), old relationships and old fleshly desires. God will help you if you only ask! If you find yourself still struggling with your emotions, feast on the Word of God. If the enemy is condemning you, apply the blood that wipes out all his charges. When you are plagued with despair and hopelessness, ask God to give you the same mind and attitude of Jesus. Call on God and He will send help! He will send ministering angels to help the heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14). You are an heir because of Christ Jesus! You have an eternal hope, for you have received the Spirit of sonship (Titus 3:7). You are blessed... for you have been transformed by the power and the blood of Christ Jesus.
