No attempted VBACs in March. 0 episiotomies. 1 vacuum assisted delivery - (excellent collaboration with laborist and CNM. Decreased fetal heart tones. MD called to bedside. Vacuum applied appropriately to bring head to crowning- MD stepped aside but stayed present to offer further assistance if necessary. CNM delivered- intact perineum -kangaroo care. That was awesome!) 0 forceps. (All March deliveries attended by midwives DESPITE Melissas broken leg!!! see below!) THIS is midwifery care ladies and gents!
